320GB White PS3 Slim Exclusive To GAME UK For £240
Even though GAME UK has being going through tough times recently, with stores across the UK closing their doors, the retailer still has the deals in full flow. GAME UK has announced through Twitter that they will be retailing exclusively, the pimping 320GB White PS3 slim, with the console available for pre-order now with the price set at £239.99.
Wouldn’t mind it in pink
The bundle will include the 320GB console in pearl white, two DualShock controllers of the same color and a 3 month subscription to PlayStation Plus, worth £12.99. A rumored release date of June 29th was squashed by Sony, with the tech giants confirming a launch date of July 6th. Sony also explained the confusion over other gaming retailer GameStop UK already selling the white PS3 slim exclusively at their stores for the last 8 months, they told Eurogamer:
Our office in Ireland negotiated a separate deal in September with GameStop. We believe this was successful and the stock has sold through. Here in the UK from July 6th, GAME will be selling the White PS3 including the two white Dualshock controllers and a free three months of PlayStation Plus. They are selling a different value bundle and are the current UK exclusive partner for Classic White PlayStation 3.
GameStop UK also took to Twitter to re-iterated they are still selling the white PS3 slim in stores and online. What sets the bundle apart from other deals for me is the inclusion of a second controller, not having to worry if your friend will have enough brain cells to remember to bring his over, those little control pads of destruction ain’t cheap people!
