Lorenzo Winfrey,  Founder, CEO and Editor-In-Chief

Lorenzo Winfrey founded ZoKnowsGaming.com (ZKG) on November 23, 2008. He started ZoKnowsGaming because he was tired of reading what some of the bigger gaming sites were writing. He felt like there had to be a different point of view and he felt like he was the person that could deliver it. Lorenzo holds a B.S. degree in Management Information Sciences from Claflin University. In his day job he is an IT Specialist that evaluates, prototypes and designs new technical solutions covering a wide array of topics including information security, SOA,  and Application and Desktop Virtualization just to name a few.

Today, ZoKnowsGaming is rapidly expanding the quantity and variety of content that it provides. His goal for the site is to provide readers with the very best in PS3 gaming news, reviews, trailers, and original articles.  On ZoKnowsGaming you will always hear the real deal; around here we tell it like it is no matter what. We understand that games aren’t cheap and one of the worst feelings in the world is to read a review somewhere that said a game was good and you go spend your money and then it’s not. You won’t get that around here, but on the same token we won’t pan a game just because everyone else does. We believe that every game needs to be judged independently and on its own merits.

The style in which I write is a deliberately conversational tone. I write reviews just like I would tell someone about a game. I always tell it like it is. I don’t just give a game a perfect score because everyone else does, but I won’t necessarily give a game a bad score because everyone else does either. I really try to focus on the quality of the game – how much fun is it for the average gamer, but at the same time is it something that hardcore gamers could love. For the most part I try not to be biased, I try to only talk about the things that I always wanted to know before I bought a game. So bookmark this page, load it into your feedreader, and get ready to see the gaming world through my eyes.

Melanie Forest – Copy Editor

Melanie Forest is the Copy Editor at ZKG.  Her responsibilities include the editing of topics and content of the website.  Melanie holds a B.B.A in Marketing from Howard University.

I am not a gamer, I am still stuck on the 2nd level of Super Mario Brothers on the original Nintendo Console, but I respect the passion and intensity with which one games.  It is with this in mind that I approach the editing of ZKG content.  My goal is to help present the news, reviews, and other articles of ZKG with great clarity, continuity, and organization and as few errors as possible.  It is my hope that our readers are informed and inspired by our stories.  I just love the spirited responses that our articles illicit.  So keep reading and responding, we love the good, appreciate the bad, and really get a kick out of the downright ugly.

I am the Co-Ceo of DLT Digital Media. We are a company that is focused on developing new and innovative web properties in addition to developing WordPress based web sites for others. But before I was all that, I was a gamer.
