Gravity Defying Shooter ‘Inversion’ Delayed Until Early 2012

It appears that we will have to wait a bit longer to get our hands on the gravity-defying shooter, Inversion, as publisher Namco Bandai has confirmed that the game’s official release window has shifted to “early 2012” from the previously announced February 7th. There started to be concern when retailers started changing their list dates for the game, so it seems Namco Bandai decided to clear up any confusion.

“The launch of Inversion has been moved to early 2012, and more details will follow in an upcoming announcement.” “This additional development time will allow the team to polish several key aspects of the game ensuring Inversion is of the highest quality.”

This is the latest in a rash of games being delayed to “ensure quality”, my only question is why would they put out a date they knew they probably couldn’t meet anyway?
