So we know this won’t make up for those of you that are like us and are still pissed that Splinter Cell: Conviction didn’t come to PS3 (including us). Then a couple of months ago we heard that Sam Fisher would be getting one of those HD facelifts that have become so popular as of late.
Now courtesy of our great friends at Amazon, we are learning a bit more. The collection of games was originally going to be called the Splinter Cell Trilogy, but of course the folks at Ubisoft came up with the more catchy “Splinter Cell Compilation” as the title. The set will include the original Splinter Cell, Pandora Tomorrow, and Chaos Theory for the very reasonable price of $39.99. At this point, it looks set for a March 22nd release date and is only one of several of these collections dropping this year. By the time this drops though, you all should be done with the likes of Mass Effect 2, LBP2 and KZ3 just to name a few. If you are one of those folks that missed the original titles this looks to be a great way to catch up on the exploits of one of our favorite super spy’s in all his stealth glory. Happy creeping.
