That’s right loyal fans of the Call of Duty franchise. 11/9/2010 is the confirmed release date for when the next battle will take place. This time around Treyarch, instead of Infinity Ward, will get its’ chance to set records for Activision.
As a surprise to many, ZKG included, the title for the game will not be Call of Duty: Vietnam or Call of Duty: World At War 2, Cuba, etc. But rather Call of Duty: Black Ops. Activision now has the site running live. There you are able to subscribe to updates, become a fan at Facebook, follow on Twitter, as well as pre-order (coming soon). Just the name Black Ops has us hoping this one is set in modern times vice the WWII era, but only time will tell.
“We can’t wait for our community to experience Call of Duty: Black Ops,” said Mark Lamia, Studio Head for Treyarch. “We have focused our entire studio on this game, with dedicated multiplayer, single-player and co-op teams creating the most intense, gripping and riveting experience possible for our fans on all fronts.”
As of now, there isn’t much known about changes or anything new in the game. But stay tuned to ZoKnowsGaming for the latest in Call of Duty news.
