As the title of this article suggests the hugely anticipated third person action adventure God of War III which is currently in development for the Playstation 3 by SCE Studios Santa Monica has been revealed to run at 720p with the ability to support 1080p through upscaling. This information was revealed by the Social Media Manager of SCEA, Jeff Rubenstein, on the Official Playstation Blog comments section.

God of War III is scheduled to be released in March

Originally, the game was thought to run in solid 1080p but based on Jeff Rubenstein’s comments today this is not the case. The main aim of this particular blog post however was to display some new God of War III screens to give people a better impression and more information about the game (as well as to satisfy the hunger of GOW fans) as the blog title was “God of War III info drought ends now”. Some people are predicting that this will be a strong contender for game of the year and could possibly even win that honor outright. In any case we will just have to wait and see but stay tuned to ZoKnowsGaming for all your God Of War 3 news.

I'm a big gaming fan who has been playing games since ever since Pokemon Yellow was released in the year 2000. I'm just glad that there are decent rugby games on the PS3 now after years of nothing. I need another Uncharted game...NOW!!!!!
