In this new Dirt 2 video we get to check out Ken Block’s passion for DiRT and rally and watch stunning new gameplay footage as Codemasters launched the latest Colin McRae: DiRT 2 video, “Racing on DiRT with Ken Block”, available from www.dirt2game.com. This is a nice little clip of Ken Block talking about what the dynamics of racing on different surfaces and how on the game just like in real life you have to account for that if you want to be successful. In the video, you will notice that he is playing a 360 but we will give him a break on that one.
Jaw-dropping gameplay footage and clips of DC Rally athlete Ken Block’s Subaru WRX STi being pushed to its limits come together in the new video as Block, technical consultant on Colin McRae: DiRT 2, explains the exhilaration of rallying off-road and offers advice on how to succeed in the game. Gameplay footage shows the spectacular Battersea Power Station and the Subaru WRX STi and McRae R4 taking on one of the game’s Rally Stages set in Croatia.

Ken is the man! I’m really, really psyched to see him perform at X15. I hope he can win himself a gold this year. Anyone else catch that featurette on ESPN? It really gave some great insight into one of the most interesting characters on the scene, definitely worth checking out…just wish they would've had some Dirt2 clips as well.
Also I was stoked that they featured “Sons of Cain” by Ted Leo + Pharmacists – I’ve loved that band since their first album and thought the song makes the perfect Ken Block soundtrack. You can check out the whole video at http://displacedbrett.wordpress.com/2009/07/31/be...

Thanks for the comments Brett, Ken is awesome and Dirt 2 is looking like its going to be great.
We still have one whole month to wait….I need to find some addiction/hobby to tide me over!
