[UPDATE] The Walking Dead Episode 2: “Starved For Help” Hits PSN And Doesn’t Work

So to add another layer to The Walking Dead saga, after waiting nearly two months and 3 extra days after their Xbox 360 counterparts, PS3 owners finally got their hands on The Walking Dead Episode 2: Starved For Help or so they thought. After downloading “Starved For Help” which comes as an 811MB add-on to the full game and installing it players thought they were good to go. But then they try to go and play the new episode and instead of getting tossed into the chaos that is the Walking Dead they are getting booted back out to the PS3’s home screen.

the-walking-dead-2This isn’t good, not good at all. Players are already agitated at the time between episodes and after waiting so long they run into a problem like this. At this point, as one of the affected I’m trying to download it again to see if that fixes anything though I’m not holding out hope. If I find something that works I’ll post it here. We’ve sent a question off to TellTale and we will let you know if and when we get a response. Stay tuned.

Update: Sony and TellTale Games are aware of the issue and say they are working to get it resolved ASAP. Not ETA yet so keep it locked.

Update: Sony and TellTale Games have resolved the issue with the episode not launching.  Just exit the game, re-launch, download the patch, & enjoy!
