Overkill has confirmed that a new expansion is coming to PayDay: The Heist called “No Mercy” and has quite a bit of references to events that occurred in Left 4 Dead. Valve insist that it is not a prequel and is not canon.

Valve Software has today denied rumors that the Swedish developer Overkill Entertainment, best known for Payday: The Heist, are now making a prequel to Left 4 Dead as had been reported yesterday.
