watch-dogs-mar-2014-6Watch Dogs has been one of the most anticipated games for the next-generation and even the older systems. Well Ubisoft has officially announced that its new IP Watch Dogs has surpassed former company record holder Assassin’s Creed III as its number one selling game on day one. While day one sales never can really predict how a game’s lifetime sales are going to be, the amount of positive feedback that the game has been receiving has been pretty solid across the board outside of the early server problems that the game had.

Ubisofts co-founder and CEO Yves Guillemot had this to say about Watch Dogs early success,

Watch Dogs is an amazing achievement and our teams should be proud that the creativity, innovation and long hours they invested in making this game are paying off. It’s great to see so many players enjoying the game, and it shows that Watch Dogs has cracked the code for developing a new blockbuster IP and a thoroughly new-gen experience.

It seems the delay Ubisoft put on Watch Dogs was a really good move on the their part. Watch Dogs is available now on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC with a Wii U version to be released later in the year.

I am 24 Years Old. My first system was the original NES with Super Mario Bros. 3 and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Manhattan Project which is in my personal top 5. I've been a gamer my whole life and i dont expect it to change anytime soon.
