WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon has announced plans for a new 24/7 streaming network that will include scheduled and live programming alongside on-demand videos and will launch on February 24 on several devices including PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and Xbox 360. The service comes to Xbox One this summer.
When the service debuts, subscribers who pay $9.99 a month (with a 6-month commitment) will have access to EVERY pay-per-view in WWE, WCW, and ECW history, live and on-demand access to all future pay-per-views, on-demand weekly shows like Raw and Smackdown, new original series, and more. Additional content will constantly be added including a live daily studio show.
Other compatible devices include computers, Kindles, Android and iOS devices, Rokus, and eventually smart TVs. Well this seems like a true wrestling fan’s dream come true, on demand wrestling content including future paper-per-views, this seems to be a pretty sweet deal and a no-brainer at that. Remember its online only, so don’t look for it on your favorite cable provider.
