DICE has announced that a Battlefield 4 Double XP event that was originally planned for the end of this month has been postponed…indefinitely.
According to an alert on Battlelog:
The end of December 2XP event for premium members has been postponed and will be run at a later date. Stay tuned for more information. We apologize for the inconvenience.
This is more bad news for Battlefield 4 after EA confirmed to Polygon yesterday that the online component of the game was still suffering from “intermittent connectivity problems.” Per EA’s comments to Polygon:
We are continuing to monitor some intermittent connectivity issues affecting some players across various platforms. Thank you for your patience. We will update this with further information as available.
Anyone playing Battlefield 4 also has to be frustrated with persisting stability issues and crashes across multiple platforms. I’m a huge fan of DICE so I’m extremely disappointed by the overall lack of stability in Battlefield 4 since its release.
