Excited about Call of Duty: Ghosts yet? This year there has seemed to be slightly less buzz around the title than normal, perhaps because of the upcoming next-gen consoles, but also maybe because fans are starting to tire of the series. Either way, a newly released gameplay trailer should re-spark some interest in the franchise, particularly with the launch titles for the PlayStation 4 dwindling fast.
The trailer highlights some admittedly awe-inspiring moments from the upcoming game, including a section set IN SPACE. Yes, that statement did fully deserve capital letters. Activision are also keen to highlight the feature which will allow gamers to purchase the current gen version of the game on its launch on 5 November, and then upgrade to the Xbox One or PS4 version at a later date for a minimal cost of $9.99. In case you haven’t heard as well, Call of Duty: Ghosts also features dogs in a big way. DOGS. It is unconfirmed at this time whether the DOGS will be IN SPACE, but we live in eternal hope.
Check out the trailer below and let us know your thoughts on this year’s COD. Will you be buying it as a launch title for your shiny next-gen console? Or will Killzone: Shadow Fall be all the FPS goodness you need this holiday season?
