Early this morning, Rockstar Games released the second title update for Grand Theft Auto Online to address an array of issues that players have been experiencing since Tuesday’s launch of the game’s online platform. They have been tweaking since the game’s release and stability has improved tremendously over the last day or so. This latest update is supposed to take those previous improvements much further. The update is currently live on PS3 and Rockstar is working to get it out on Xbox 360 as soon as possible. PS3 players really need it though as its been noted that PS3 players have been having a significantly harder time getting going so it’s really no surprise it hit that platform first.

Rockstar continues to address an issue that stops players across both consoles from completing the first tutorial mission. Many people have been able to finally get past this section through repeated tries but others are just stuck. Rockstar is working to get this unblocked for everyone, because as soon as you get past that part, the rest of the game seems to stabilize. For now the only way to earn money in GTA Online is working for it as Rockstar has disabled the option to purchase GTA$ cash packs until everyone has access to GTA Online and it’s stable.
So if you’ve been having issues, download that update and get back to playing. I’ll see you online. To keep up with all the updates on GTA Online, check out the official site.
