Hockey Ultimate Team is the most played game mode in the EA Sports NHL games and now it is set to get even better with the news that Online Seasons is set to become a part of it in NHL 14. Gamers will be able to win games and advance to the next division where they would face tougher competition, and should they fail, a fall back down the ranks would follow. In addition to this, teams will be able to track their progress across multiple seasons, with the aim of always moving up the standings.

The Ultimate Team format is popular across all of EA Sports’ games

Other new features of Hockey Ultimate Team include the ‘Auction Assistant’ which display key information in the auction house such as the rarity rating and an average price range for items in order to ensure you make the best deals possible. You can also earn EA Pucks, by completing games in other game modes like Play Now or Online Versus mode, which will be assigned based on your match performance. The pucks can then be redeemed and used in Hockey Ultimate Team.

Those who pre-order NHL 14 will receive the EA Sports Ultimate Pass that includes twenty-four HUT Gold packs, which is delivered as one pack per week for twenty-four weeks. NHL 14 will be available for the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 on September 10 in North America and September 13 for the rest of the world.

I'm a big gaming fan who has been playing games since ever since Pokemon Yellow was released in the year 2000. I'm just glad that there are decent rugby games on the PS3 now after years of nothing. I need another Uncharted game...NOW!!!!!
