Saints Row 4 has enjoyed a good week since release with review scores being favourable and now the news that the game has sold one million copies during its first week on sale. Koch Media, parent company of publisher Deep Silver and developer Volition, called Saints Row 4 a “breakthrough commercial achievement” and revealed that PC sales were up by a ratio of 3:1 when compared to the PC sales of Saints Row: The Third.
The game is currently top of the UK all-formats chart after beating Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Disney Infinity and The Bureau to the top spot, although its sales are down on those made by Saints Row: The Third. The game is now the fourth largest launch of 2013 after Tomb Raider, BioShock Infinite and The Last of Us which is great news for the series, especially with GTA 5 just around the corner.
Saints Row 4 is available now on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
