Who loves “leaks”? I love leaks. I used to think they were PR bullcrap, and they still might be, but they’ve been true very often. So, while it may be some kind of PR stunt, it works. The most recent “leak” is the launch date for the Xbox One being November 8th. People are speculating that Microsoft waited for Sony to announced the PS4’s launch date before deciding their own. I don’t understand why it matters. If I could only afford one new console, a release date wouldn’t convince me to buy the other just because it came out sooner. Is this really a deciding factor for people? Do you think “I didn’t really want this console, but because it came out first I’ll get it instead”? I digress!
Here’s the leaked info on the Xbox One launch date:
As you can see, the “Xbox 1 Console” doesn’t have a “confirmed” mark on it, but it is there. I really wish I could afford these next-gen consoles right away. The sad thing is how much cheaper they both are than the PS3 and the Xbox 360, and I still can’t pick either up. They both look incredible to me. Which one are you getting?
