The good news for Vita just keeps on coming. Gamescom may have been a bit light on the ground when it came to big AAA game announcements, but so many smaller games have been announced or confirmed for both Vita, PS3 and PS4 that it becomes difficult to keep track of them all! One title which has already been released in the US and Japan is Muramasa Rebirth, which has finally been confirmed for a European release.
The action RPG sees you cast as either the fugitive ninja Kisuke, searching for the legendary demon blades, or Momohime, a princess possessed by a vengeful spirit, as you hunt for the same weapons. You will use 108 powerful blades, each with their own special attack to fend off enemies big and small. The game seems ideally suited to the Vita, with a combination of depth and pick-up-and-play gameplay, and it looks luscious on the OLED screen. Muramasa Rebirth also features additional downloadable content featuring new storylines, characters and enemies. The game is already released in the US, but is due for launch through PSN this fall for Europe.
