This upcoming holiday season gamers are in for a real treat, with both the PS4 and Xbox One launching. Now, gamers are closer to claiming their own PS4 or Xbox One with Walmart announcing plans for a second round of pre-order on both the PS4 and Xbox One.
Beginning this Saturday (August 24) at local Walmart stores nationwide gamers can pre-order the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles with a $40 down payment for the PS4 and $50 for the Xbox One. When the PS4 and Xbox One launch on their release date, gamers will need to make the full payment or they may continue to make payments till December 31, 2013. After that date, refunds may be issued and stock returned to inventory.
Gamers looking to take advantage of this deal are encouraged to get to a Walmart store this Saturday and to contact a gaming associate. Gamers will need to do the following to pre-order the console of their choice:
- Provide a 10 percent down payment.
- Make payments over time or in full when the console becomes available.
- Pick up the console on launch date or gamers can continue to pay on console until December 31, 2013.
For gamers who prefer Xbox, the Xbox One Day One Edition will be available for $499.00 and will include an Xbox One System, Kinect, Day One Commemorative Edition Controller, an Exclusive Achievement and Special Edition Packaging.
As for the PS4 it starts at $399.00 and includes a PlayStation 4 System, DualShock 4 Controller and Wired Mono Headset.
