PS Vita And Memory Card Price Drop

A week or so ago, there was a lot of news going around about a sale coming up at Target between August 18th and August 24th for the PlayStation Vita for $200. While that a pretty nice sale, Target wasn’t the only retailer with that sale. In fact, on August 18th the PS Vita popped up on sale for $200 at every single retail store.playstation-vita

At Gamescom, Sony announced that $200 will be the normal price for the PS Vita, which is some pretty nice news for the poor and cheapskate gamers like myself. Hopefully this will lead to even higher sales of the portable console. And for a little bit of icing, this new price drop applies to both versions of the PS Vita, the 3G and the regular one.

But wait, there is more. On top of all that, the memory cards have had their prices reduced as well. The 4GB is $15, 8GB $20, 16GB $40, and the 32GB is now $80.

Whew! Don’t you love these kind of announcements. Be sure to check out the PS Vita weekly game sale going on.
