Gamescom is in full effect this week, and with that comes news from EA about the upcoming FIFA 14. From new modes, legendary players, to connected experiences, it seems as if FIFA 14 is being positioned to be THE sports game of this holiday season.
You will be able to get your first hands-on with the demo for FIFA 14 on Xbox 360 and PC worldwide on September 10th. PlayStation 3 users will get it on September 10th in North America and September 11 in Europe.
FIFA 14 allows you to craft your FIFA 14 Ultimate Team with a mix between current and legendary players. Every legend will have unique attributes that showcases their skills.

Our fans will be able to bring stars from different eras together to create teams and combinations they have previously only dreamed about.For the first time ever, you will be able to play with Pelé and Messi in the same lineup. It is going to create a unique experience within our most popular game mode.

Seasons Mode has also added something new – Co-op Seasons. You and a friend can play in 2v2 ranked matches online. Moving your way up to Division 1, earning League Titles and proving who the best players in the world are. Match Day will also be expanding to Seasons and Co-op Seasons, keeping you connected to the real-world soccer season with injuries, suspensions, and player form.
For anyone who plans on buying the current-gen version of FIFA 14 and then upgrading to next-gen, do not have to worry about losing progress made. FIFA 14 will allow Xbox 360 to Xbox One and PS3 to PS4 to transfer FIFA 14 Ultimate Team full roster, progress, in-game items and in-game currency. Along with that, EA SPORTS Football Club level, XP and select catalogue items such as celebrations and historical kits will also travel to the new consoles along with Seasons progress, which includes the trophy case and leaderboards, Virtual Pro and accomplishments, and selected Career Mode rewards.
Match Flow, the new feature announced by EA should add dynamic and continuous gameplay. Players will interact with side-line characters such as ball boys so they can get the ball back into play as the clock winds down and the pressure mounts, and fans will witness the build-up and player positioning prior to corners or free kicks. The new additions also include the iconic Brazilian National Team and new licenses for the Chilean Primera Division, Argentinean Primera División, and 19 clubs from Brazil.
FIFA 14 will be available in North America on September 24th and worldwide on September 27th for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Wii, PSP, Playstation 2, 3DS, PS Vita, and Windows PC. It will be available for the Xbox One and Playstation 4 later on in the year. FIFA 14 on mobile will be available on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch as well as Android devices this fall. Other mobile platforms will be revealed later.
