Payday 2 has been well received by various publications and gaming fans alike and the game has seen both a digital and retail release instead of the purely digital release that Payday: The Heist saw in 2011. UK fans have had trouble when trying to acquire a physical copy of Payday 2, as it has been proving very hard to find due to low stock levels. The publisher 505 Games has promised that that it will be replenishing the UK stock of Payday 2 and hopefully fans of the heist shooter will be getting to grips with the title sooner, rather than later.
A 505 Games spokesperson posted this message last night on the company’s official Facebook page, addressing the lack of stock:
“505 Games is aware that our retail partners are currently experiencing a product shortage for Payday 2 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.”
“We are working hard to remedy this by shipping out more copies daily in order to ensure that store shelves are being re-stocked as quickly as possible.”
The shortage could be as a result of high-demand for the game or poor initial stock levels of the game but that is not known at this time. Payday 2 is out now and is available on the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
