Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition Back On The App Store

Come On, Share It

Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition, the updated version of the original Baldur’s Gate title, is once again available to buy on the iTunes App Store after it was removed from sale in June. Contractual complications were cited as reasons for the removal but we don’t know the precise details as of this time. Beamdog producer Phillip Daigle announced the return of the well-known RPG on Wednesday via Twitter:

A user on Reddit posted an email which in addition to announcing the return of the title for sale, also said that details of an upcoming major Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition patch will be revealed and the Android tablet version in the “near future”. We will also be hearing some news regarding Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition at some point as well.

It’s good to see Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition back on sale and hopefully we will hear more about Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition soon. We will let you know more information as and when we get it.

Thanks, Polygon.

I'm a big gaming fan who has been playing games since ever since Pokemon Yellow was released in the year 2000. I'm just glad that there are decent rugby games on the PS3 now after years of nothing. I need another Uncharted game...NOW!!!!!
