If you had bought the previous version of Rocksmith and were worried that you would have to buy all of the necessary items again, Ubisoft has come to your rescue and assured gamers that Rocksmith 2014 Edition will not render your past purchases obsolete. In a video Q&A session that you can view by scroll to the bottom of this article, community developer Mike Madavi confirms that you can use the original Rocksmith cable with the new game instead of having to fork out for a new one. The cable is used to connect a guitar to your console or PC.

Rocksmith 2014 Edition

You don’t need to buy all of your DLC again for Rocksmith 2014 Edition

Any DLC that you purchased for the first game will also work with the new version of Rocksmith and you can even import tracks from the disc to use in-game, which will surely be a great advantage considering the improved teaching mode that the game boasts. Rocksmith 2014 Edition is due in October on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It will be available in a bundle with a guitar, but there is no word from Ubisoft about an instrument bundle so we will let you know more info when we have it.

I'm a big gaming fan who has been playing games since ever since Pokemon Yellow was released in the year 2000. I'm just glad that there are decent rugby games on the PS3 now after years of nothing. I need another Uncharted game...NOW!!!!!
