According to Inside Gaming Daily via Videogamer, it is being reported that Sony may be preparing a bundle containing the PlayStation 4 and the PS Vita that is looking to be released by the “end of the year.” A “well-placed anonymous source” is stating that the bundle will cost “around $500” which, for our friends in the UK, is roughly £325. However, it has been pointed out that the individual price for the $399 PS4 in the UK is £349, so £450 would be a more reasonable expectation for the cost of this bundle.
The cross-compatible features between the PS4 and the PS Vita is surely the main selling point of this bundle should it turn out to be true and you will surely be getting the Vita at a slightly reduced price which may be what is needed after the continued poor sales of Sony’s current handheld console. There is still no word about what sort of bundles we are going to see for the PS4 by itself but we can hopefully expect Sony to release details of them closer to the release date.
Would you be interested in getting a bundle like this or would you prefer to buy the consoles separately? Please let us know what you think in the comments below.
