While last week contained the disappointment of Ashes Cricket 2013 being delayed until November, cricket fans have a new game to look forward to in the shape of Don Bradman Cricket 14 which was announced by its developer Big Ant Studios today. The studio is also working with publisher HES and the Bradman Foundation to bring the legendary player’s license to the title. For those who don’t follow the sport, Bradman is widely acknowledged as the best Test batsman of all time and had a career Test batting average of 99.94, which is considered one of the best achievements in world sport.

Sebastian Giompaolo, Managing Director for HES, spoke of the game in a press release:

“It is indeed an honour to be able to bring the greatest player to a technology savvy generation of fans in what promises to be the greatest cricket game of all time. Big Ant Studios have been working hard on this title for four years and we at HES are really excited with what they have been able to achieve. It is far superior to any cricket game in the market.”

Don Bradman Cricket 14 is due to be released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC later this year. We will let you know of any official release date as and when we get it.

I'm a big gaming fan who has been playing games since ever since Pokemon Yellow was released in the year 2000. I'm just glad that there are decent rugby games on the PS3 now after years of nothing. I need another Uncharted game...NOW!!!!!
