Football Manager 2014 To Release On PS Vita? [RUMOR]

Share And Comment

If you are a fan of the Football Manager series but you prefer to get your managerial fix on a handheld console rather than the PC version you would have found your options fairly restricted in the last few years. The game has still been appearing on the PlayStation Portable despite the release the PS Vita, with developers Sports Interactive stating that a Football Manager on the Vita would only happen when sales of the system picked up, which they still haven’t, which doesn’t look good for the series making its debut on the PS Vita.

Football Manager 2014 - PS Vita listing?

Has the PS Vita been chosen instead of the PSP?

However, good news may be at hand if a listing on the website for online retailer ShopTo.net is to be believed as a shop page for Football Manager 2014 has appeared on their site displaying the game as being available for the PS Vita. The listing is no longer there but Push Square managed to capture a screen grab of it from a cached version of the shop listing which is what you can see above. If the game is officially confirmed for the PlayStation Vita, there could be some sort of announcement for it at gamescom 2013.

If Football Manager 2014 is officially announced then we here at ZKG will let you know but it seems to be the next logical step for the series on handheld consoles. I mean, how many people are buying the game for the PSP? Let us know if you want to see the game on the PS Vita in the comments below.

I'm a big gaming fan who has been playing games since ever since Pokemon Yellow was released in the year 2000. I'm just glad that there are decent rugby games on the PS3 now after years of nothing. I need another Uncharted game...NOW!!!!!
