PlayStation 4 Looks Set To Continue Using Trophies

Come On, Share It

A few days ago some screenshots of the operating system for the PlayStation 4 appeared that specifically showed off the mobile and tablet interfaces that Sony has been talking about quite a lot over the last few months. A screenshot in particular caught our attention here at ZKG, as it appears to be showing the collected trophies for Knack, a launch title for the PlayStation 4. There also appears to an in-game from a friend also present in the picture, which you can see for yourself below.

Good to see that Sony is sticking with the trophies system

There is a bit of confusion as the numbers of trophies that you can see is surely too high to be that of just one game but it is probably just a made up number for the sake of the picture. One thing that cannot be denied is that bronze, silver, gold and platinum trophies are clearly visible which surely means that they will appear on the PlayStation 4. They are of course already present on the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita systems.

Trophies are important to PlayStation gamers in the same way achievements are for Xbox users so it is nice to see Sony continuing to use them. The PlayStation 4 is set to launch later this year.

I'm a big gaming fan who has been playing games since ever since Pokemon Yellow was released in the year 2000. I'm just glad that there are decent rugby games on the PS3 now after years of nothing. I need another Uncharted game...NOW!!!!!
