Heralded as one of the best fighting games of all-time, SoulCalibur II returns to consoles this year. Developed by Project Soul, the elite development team at Namco Bandai Studios Inc., SoulCalibur II HD Online re-imagines the beloved title by adding online multiplayer support as well as vibrant updated graphics. This re-imagining is in time for the celebration of SCII’s 10-year anniversary.
For the first time ever, players will be able to square off against opponents from around the world fighting as Ivy, Taki, Mitsurugi, Talim, Maxi and more. Heihachi from Tekken has been confirmed as a playable character, while the Link and Spawn characters are up in the wind.
The multitude of modes found in the original release return:
- Arcade Mode.
- Survival Mode.
- VS Battle.
- Time Attack.
- Team Battle.
- Weapon Master.

SoulCalibur II is a weapon-based fighting game. It was originally released for the arcades in 2002, before being ported to Xbox, GameCube and PlayStation 2 in 2003. SoulCalibur II HD Online will be available on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade.
