There will be an announcement made on Saturday regarding some brand new DLC for Borderlands 2, according to Gearbox Software president Randy Pitchford after he was asked about the possibility of new content for the game on Twitter:

There has been plenty of DLC released already for the popular and critically well-received action RPG shooter via the Borderlands 2 season pass but Gearbox had said previously that more DLC was already in development.
Randy Pitchford spoke in an interview with Nerdist about the season pass for Borderlands 2 and the prospect of more DLC:
“We did a season pass for Borderlands 2 and the season pass was like hey, if you buy the season pass we would be doing four campaign add-ons and you can buy all four of them for the price of three, if you buy upfront. So everyone was under the expectation that those would be the four DLCs and that’s it.”
“We are going to do more, we are going to do some other things. I don’t have details exactly of it yet because we’re not ready to announce what the other things are, but Assault On Dragon Keep will not be the end of it.”
We will keep you up-to-date here at ZKG regarding any future DLC announcements for Borderlands 2 and their respective release dates and pricing when we have them.
