It is looking like Call of Duty: Ghosts will contain some kind of new co-op content, a tweet from the developer Infinity Ward has suggested, but it is all very unclear as to what this co-op mode will involve and whether it is going to officially be announced. It is unknown whether this new co-operative content would be replacing the popular Spec Ops mode or whether they are both going to be present in the game.
Infinity Ward’s community coordinator Candice Capen, in response to a question from a fan, sent the tweet you can see below:

One thing that suggests that Spec Ops might be replaced by this new co-op mode is the comments from Infinity Ward saying that were making Ghosts instead of Modern Warfare 4, as the latter would be just “keeping it safe”. Spec Ops mode of course first appeared in the Modern Warfare series and is synonymous with it. What you want to see from a new co-op mode? Please let us know in the comments below.
Call of Duty: Ghosts is out November 5 on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. It will drop on PS4 and Xbox One as well but the precise release date is unknown.
