Microsoft recently performed a very high-profile U-turn when they announced that they were dropping the controversial DRM plans for the Xbox One that enabled the console to become region-free and they are now rumored to have done another one. The latest alleged policy change from Microsoft regarding the incoming Xbox One console states that it will now launch with a headset included (via Eurogamer).
Of course this is not the stance that Microsoft originally had regarding the Xbox One being bundled with a headset as they said that customers would have to buy one separately as you could use the Kinect to chat instead. Xbox 360 headsets were also not going to be compatible but Microsoft is now supposedly working on developing some type of adapter to allow gamers to use their Xbox 360 headsets with the Xbox One.
