Those lucky folks over at IGN have already managed to get their hands on a PlayStation 4 console which was displayed on the show ‘Up at Noon’. Colin Moriarty talked about the power of the PS4 and touched upon the subject of power bricks, in regards to whether one would be present in the next-generation console. Shuhei Yoshida, President of Sony Worldwide Studios has confirmed that the console doesn’t have a power brick as all “the power is inside.”

No power brick for the PlayStation 4

Shuhei Yoshida’s comments also falls in line with the images of the PS4’s box contents that have been circulating around the internet, in which no power brick is seen to be present. Moving on to the subject of how big the console will be, Shuhei said that it is “very close to the 2nd gen PS3, and PS4 is slimmer.” In addition to this information, he revealed that any headphones will work in the headphone jack on the DualShock 4 but on the mic, “it depends.”

I'm a big gaming fan who has been playing games since ever since Pokemon Yellow was released in the year 2000. I'm just glad that there are decent rugby games on the PS3 now after years of nothing. I need another Uncharted game...NOW!!!!!
