Following hot on the heels on the release last week of TrackMania 2 Stadium for the PC, Ubisoft and Nadeo have today announced that the next title in the series, Valley, will drop on July 4th via TrackMania.com, the ManiaPlanet platform, and Steam. TrackMania 2 Valley will include a new, rally-style handling, a 65-track solo campaign, and of course, TrackMania’s well-liked range of online and offline multiplayer modes.
Nadeo Founder and Managing Director, Florent Castelnerac said of the games release:
“As we were co-developing Stadium and Valley concurrently it meant we finished development of each around the same time. We could have chosen to postpone the release of one of these two titles, but we rather preferred to launch both games as soon as possible, thinking that this is what players would want for the summer. Our fans have been waiting so patiently since we announced Valley in 2009, we wanted to reward them as soon as we could with this release.”
In my opinion, the TrackMania games are some of the best racing games (and also some of the most fun) and hopefully this new release will continue the previous good work by Nadeo. Until the release of the game, check out the announcement trailer below:
