New Star Wars: Battlefront Will Be DICE’s Own “Interpretation”

Star Wars: Battlefront, the much-requested upcoming Star Wars game, is going to be DICE’s own interpretation of what the series should be so you probably shouldn’t expect it to simply be a graphically superior version of Star Wars: Battlefront II which was released way back in 2005. Not much is known about the game but it is being built with the Frostbite 3 engine and will released on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

DICE have revealed little information about the game thus far

In an interview with Eurogamer, EA Games Label boss Patrick Söderlund explained:

“This is DICE’s interpretation of what Battlefront should be. That’s the best description you can have. There are absolutely things in the previous Battlefront games that you’ll recognize and remember, but DICE wants to put its own flavor on it. That’s the only way we can do it. Hence it’s called Star Wars: Battlefront, without a 3 at the end.”

What do you want the new Battlefront game to be? Please tell us what you think in the comments below.

I'm a big gaming fan who has been playing games since ever since Pokemon Yellow was released in the year 2000. I'm just glad that there are decent rugby games on the PS3 now after years of nothing. I need another Uncharted game...NOW!!!!!
