DriveClub was one the games confirmed by Sony at E3 this week to be a launch title when the PlayStation 4 drops towards the end of this year with further news coming in the shape of a certain edition of the game that will be available to PS4 members of PlayStation Plus as part of their subscription. TheSixthAxis confirmed that the PS Plus version would be the same as the regular retail version when it comes to features, but there will be a reduced number of cars and tracks available.
One mystery that remained was whether those who possessed the ‘PS Plus Edition’ of DriveClub would be able to simply upgrade their existing game if they liked what they saw or whether they would have to go out any buy a full price copy of the game. Worldwide Studios head Shuhei Yoshida confirmed on Twitter that PS Plus users would simply need to upgrade which is good news for those concerned.
