Battlefield: Bad Company Series Is “By No Means Killed”

Battlefield 4 is taking centre stage at DICE at the present moment but that is not to say that Bad Company 3 is never going to happen, so says executive produced Patrick Bach. The main reason the game hasn’t been made is because they are just a little bit busy with other projects right now like the small matters of Battlefield 4 and Star Wars: Battlefront just to name a few.

The series is not dead but DICE have other priorities right now

Speaking with IGN, Bach spoke about the possible future of the Bad Company series with fans constantly asking for another game. He said, “The Bad Company series is by no means killed or anything, it’s still out there.” Continuing on he stated, “We merged the Battlefield main game with Bad Company, and we’ll continue to do it. I won’t say we’ll never build another Bad Company game, but right now we’re focusing on Battlefield 4.”

It is nice to see Bad Company influencing the main Battlefield series, especially regarding the multiplayer model in Battlefield 4, but it is not quite the same as a proper Bad Company game. Would you like to see a return for this series or are you happy with how things are? Please tell us your opinion in the comments below.

I'm a big gaming fan who has been playing games since ever since Pokemon Yellow was released in the year 2000. I'm just glad that there are decent rugby games on the PS3 now after years of nothing. I need another Uncharted game...NOW!!!!!
