Battlefield 4’s First DLC, ‘Second Assault’, Is A Timed Xbox Live Exclusive

After impressing with a demonstration of Battlefield 4 at their conference at E3 2013 earlier this week, EA revealed that the very first map pack that is due to drop for the game, entitled Second Assault, will be appearing on Xbox Live before anywhere else. This unfortunately means that everyone else will have to wait for it but it will surely be worth it when gamers finally manage to get their hands on the DLC as the E3 demo made it seem like it will be great fun to play which it hopefully will be.

The game looked very impressive at E3 this year

With only the first map pack being mentioned in the E3 presentation, it is looking at this point that it won’t be like the DLC deal done with the Call of Duty games where all the DLC was released on the Xbox 360 before anywhere else. Essentially, you will only have to wait for Second Assault and not every single subsequent map pack although we are still waiting for official confirmation on this.

Battlefield 4 launches on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC this fall.

I'm a big gaming fan who has been playing games since ever since Pokemon Yellow was released in the year 2000. I'm just glad that there are decent rugby games on the PS3 now after years of nothing. I need another Uncharted game...NOW!!!!!
