PlayStation 4 HDD Is Upgradable, Console Is Also Region Free

Sony announced that the PlayStation 4 will launch with a 500GB HDD that you can fill up with whatever you want although I imagine the majority of it will be games with PlayStation Plus having a big say in it with its numerous free games that are available to you. However, what would you do if your HDD fills up? You simply upgrade it as confirmed by Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida on Twitter, which was also possible with the PS3.

You are free to upgrade the 500GB HDD whenever you feel like it

This is yet another advantage that the console has over Microsoft and the Xbox One as its 500GB HDD is non-removable. Finally, Yoshida continued with the good news when he shared the fact that the PlayStation 4 will be region free which allow gamers to import games from around the world and allow them to play games that may not see a release in their region.

What do you make of this from Sony? Please leave your thoughts and opinions in the comments below.

I'm a big gaming fan who has been playing games since ever since Pokemon Yellow was released in the year 2000. I'm just glad that there are decent rugby games on the PS3 now after years of nothing. I need another Uncharted game...NOW!!!!!
