HD collections of games from previous console generations are currently big business, with everyone from the God of War himself, Kratos, to Solid Snake getting in on the action. Last year saw the much-loved platform games of the Jak and Daxter trilogy head to PS3, and now Sony and Naughty Dog haS confirmed that the collection will be heading to Vita very soon.

Comprising the games Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II and Jak 3, the collection bundles together arguably the best platform games in the history of PlayStation. The titles should also be ideal for mobile gaming on the Vita, and will feature an independent trophy list from the PS3 version, including platinums for each game. When the collection was originally released on the PS3, many fans were clamoring for a Vita release, and hopefully they wont be disappointed with the final release.

Check out the trailer for the game below, and look forward to revisiting the Jak and Daxter trilogy on the Vita this June, for $29.99/€29.99. Yes – I guess that means UK/European gamers are getting screwed over on the pricing again…
