I’m sure that a whole bunch of you are currently wading through carcasses and entrails, enjoying the latest in the God of War saga. God of War: Ascension was released a couple of weeks back and the prequel has been gaining a lot of fans, both for its single player and the all-new online multiplayer mode.
As with any new multiplayer title though, there have been a few teething problems, and small issues that have arisen within the first few weeks of gamers getting stuck into the finished game. Sony Santa Monica have recently taken to the PlayStation Blog, in order to let fans know that a patch is incoming, and that most of the problems they are reporting will shortly be fixed.
It isn’t just bug fixes that will be in place when the version 1.04 patch hits soon. The level cap will also be raised from 30 to 40, bringing along with it new items, weapons and magic powers for each allegiance. In addition to this, sound issues and game matchmaking will also see improvement.
No news yet on the date we can expect to see that wonderful notification that an update has been downloaded (for those of you with PlayStation Plus anyway, otherwise prepare for a wait!), but Santa Monica are promising more news very soon, along with some DLC announcements. Keep it here and you will know as soon as we do!
