Today marks the 7th birthday for Twitter, which began as a social sharing service back in 2006. As it stands, the company has over 200 million active users that generate over 400 million tweets per day. Twitter notes that “There’s an old English saying, “Keep a thing seven years, and you’ll always find a use for it.”” And yes, we’re sure that there are more than a few uses for Twitter today.
In addition to their announcement, Twitter has put together a sweet and simple video highlighting some of the biggest Twitter events over the past 7 years. Have a look at the video and see if you have any memories to those events.
