Although Sony and Superbot studios have now parted company following the release of PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale and its first DLC, we were also promised that the game would continue to be supported by Sony Santa Monica, better known for their work on the MLB: The Show series. And true to their word, the first details of another incoming DLC pack have been unveiled, and there isn’t going to be a long wait.
Zeus from God of War will be the next Sony character to be immortalized in Superbot’s game, with Isaac Clarke from the Dead space series representing a new addition to the third-party ranks. A new stage will also be included in the DLC pack; a crossover stage combining elements of MediEvil and The Unfinished Swan.
Zeus is said to utilise some powerful attacks and is a similar fighter to Big Daddy, whereas Isaac is useful both at range with his trust plasma cutter and also up-close in a similar way to Nathan Drake.
The new DLC bundle will be available on March 19th and like the other content will be cross-buy compatible with both PS3 and Vita. No pricing details as yet, but expect it to be a similar amount to the Kat/Emmett DLC now that it has finished its trial free period, around $4.99/£3.49.
