Australian Release Dates Announced For Upcoming 3DS Games

If you are reading our wonderful site from the Down Under world of Australia then you might well be interested in some updated release dates for your territory, at least if you are a 3DS owner anyway. Nintendo Australia has followed up the recent Nintendo Direct conference with some information specifically for our Antipodean chums, and here is what we know.

Luigi’s Mansion 2 is coming on March 28. A sequel to the much-loved Gamecube launch game, Luigi must capture ghosts from five mansions and restore the Dark Moon. An all-new control scheme uses Nintendo 3DS’s gyroscope and accelerometer and it also features several multiplayer modes.

Strategy title Fire Emblem: Awakening will launch on April 20. The game has garnered extremely impressive review scores following its US release and features the ability to breed in-game characters and a multiplayer mode called Dual Tag.

Moving into late spring/early summer, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity is due to launch on May 18. Gameplay involves battling through Mystery Dungeons in the role of a Pokémon, and also features wireless multiplayer.

Finally the latest in an ever-popular series, Animal Crossing: New Leaf is due on the June 15. That should keep the girls happy anyway – joke!!
