Developer of Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition, 4J Studios, took to Twitter recently to respond to some user questions and in the process revealed some addition and changes to the development cycle for the game. They revealed that Title Update 8 will now be focused on bug fixes for Title Update 7. This is significant because that means that the introduction of the floating world called The End will slip to a later date. The End was originally planned for Title Update 8.

After dropping that bit of bad news, they went on to answer a few questions. In response to whether sheep grow wool by eating grass, the developer responded “Not yet, but that will come in a later update. 4J Studios also confirmed that the game’s fourth skin pack is in progress but said they couldn’t give any details at this point. They finally revealed that baby wolves will be born tame after a future update.
Minecraft has proven to not just be a fad, with the game seemingly only increasing in popularity with the game’s creator recently revealing that they sold an amazing 453,000 units on Christmas Day alone.
