Alan Wake Developer Teases New Game – To Be Multi-Platform?

Over two years after its release, Alan Wake remains a game which splits gamers right down the middle. For everyone that loved its creepy atmosphere, cool torchlight dynamics and episodic nature, others hated its lack of a true open world and cheesy dialogue. Personally I enjoyed it more than any game in 2010, perhaps save for Batman Arkham Asylum. Regardless of your own view however, any news on a potential sequel is good news, and the rumors have been getting louder lately.

Now developer Remedy is dropping more and more hints about a new game, which may or may not be an Alan Wake title. On their official Facebook page they have posted a cryptic message which just reads; ‘Even greater Remedy news to come in 2013’. Bearing in mind that most of the big name games for 2013 have already been announced and are due for release in the first half of the year, the scene is set for perhaps Alan Wake 2 to be confirmed as a launch title for the next-gen Xbox.

In addition to the message on Facebook, Remedy’s official website is confirming that staff are currently being hired for two projects; one iOS and a second one for ‘future generation consoles’. Note the plural there, could it be possible that a potential Alan Wake 2 could be multi-platform? Let us know your thoughts below.
