Today reports surfaced on what Apple’s Chief Executive Officer, Tim Cook, will make in compensation this year. According to the Bloomberg, “Apple Inc. (AAPL) Chief Executive Officer Tim Cook received compensation for 2012 valued at $4.17 million after receiving one of the biggest payout packages on record last year”.

With that 2011 package amounting to $378 million, it means that Tim Cook will only bring in approximately 1% of his 2011 amount in 2012. Talk about a big pay cut – almost 99%. But really, he’s still making more than the average person by far. Additionally, he still has those stock awards that’ll be divvied out over the next 10 years (376.2 million).
