The Spike Video Game Awards 2012 – The Winners Are

Share And Comment

A great night for gaming!

As expected, the Spike Video Game Awards 2012 gave us plenty to talk about, from brand new premieres of titles such as the mysterious ‘The Phantom Pain‘ to sequels to old fan-favorite ‘Dark Souls 2‘, while also giving recognition to games that tore it up in the industry this year.

The event was hosted by crazy-cat Samuel L. Jackson, who did a great job on the night and gave us some good laughs between awards.

More to the point, your here for the games and it has been a spectacular year for gaming, with some titles outshining those you would put cold hard cash on taking home the prize. If you missed the event then you have my deepest condolences, but to make you feel better we have all the winners on the night for you right here, from Best Social Game to the penultimate Game of The Year – so check it out!

When not fighting crime, I dabble in the art of online journalism. Alright, maybe it's not as exciting as headbutting everyday felons like a modern Bruce Wayne, but I need something that doesn't involve bludgeoning something. Get my kicks playing on a fat 80gb PS3, really need an upgrade......and a shave.
