It looks like there is light at the end of the tunnel for Skyrim gamers on the PlayStation 3. After a turbulent few months of not knowing if any downloadable content at all would release on the platform, developer Bethesda has revealed that upcoming expansion ‘Dragonborn’ will release on the PC and PlayStation 3 early in the new year.
“We’re happy to announce Dragonborn will be available on PS3 and PC early next year, said Bethesda. “And we’re still not done – we look forward to sharing more Skyrim news next year.”
PlayStation gamers have shown their anger towards Bethesda after not receiving any downloadable content for the game, with Xbox 360 and PC users already playing expansions ‘Dawnguard’ and ‘Hearthfire’. The developer blamed technical problems as the main issue in getting the content out to Sony’s platform.
Bethesda still has yet to reveal if the two earlier expansions will get their release on the PlayStation 3 however, we might have to sit and wait for a Game of The Year edition. Bethesda has promised more exciting content is on the way, so finger’s crossed PlayStation 3 gamers get what they’ve been waiting for.
