Lets Fish! Hooked On Coming Exclusively To Vita [VIDEO]

Slowly but surely the Vita is increasing its software library and is becoming more and more essential each day. Whilst lackluster ports and farmed out versions of franchises continue to clog up the release schedule, the portable powerhouse does seem to be carving out a niche between cross buy versions of PS3 games which play exactly the same at home and on the road, and quirky cheaper Vita only exclusives.

Lets Fish! Hooked On, certainly falls into the latter camp. An anime story mode along with Vita specific controls certainly sound enticing, and when you add in the fact that it is being developed by the makers of the classic Sega Bass Fishing, SIMS, then we could well have a must own game on (in?) our hands, to join Persona 4, Little Big Planet and Uncharted: Golden Abyss.

The game contains 4 separate game modes as well as the story campaign, hopefully allowing for the right mixture of shorter and longer gaming sessions that accompany a dedicated handheld device. Multiple playable characters and 9 different varieties of fish are also promised. As you can see from the trailer below it all looks rather spiffing and should at least prove to be a fun experience when it launches next year. No more information yet about release date or pricing, but we will bring you the news as soon as we hook it!
